Living in Colorado and trying to find a good mechanic that can keep my Corolla running ( best car I've ever owned). The "'specialist" I go to now seems to be unreasonably expensive for such an older car, and I think he sees a woman come in the door and figures he can make his mortgage payment....

I'm still trying to figure out how all of this works so I can hopefully get some feedback from other Toyota owners

I have a 96 Corolla with 127,700 miles on it. Never had any problems with it ( other than normal wear and tear) and I bought it used as a lease return.
