Sounds like it's the mass air flow sensor. You can get a can of mass air flow sensor cleaner for about 10$ . If you just clean it and put it back in and nothing else. And if it runs better for a few than that is your problem. But don't use anything but that to clean it with.

Has anyone had a problem with the K&N TYPHOON COLD AIR INTAKE and a jet power flow mafs not working with each other at all ? If so please let me know what you did to fix the problem. Or any suggestions that might help me find a better way to make it work. T Y

I have a 2015 Corolla s plus with a power chip and a K&N typhoon cold air intake on it . I've done put 2 different jet power flow mafs on it and the check engine light is still coming on . Any idea what the problem is ?
