with the key cylinder rod out of the actuator, the key would turn in both directions. When the rod (with cross tip) was inserted in the actuator, the key would only turn to the right.
I have just replaced the small motors in the lock actuators in the left and right front door on a 2014 corolla.
This fixed the remote lock problem, but now the key will turn to the right (unlock) but will NOT physically turn left (lock).
Any thoughts on why the key won’t turn left?
