All, is there a way to stop the trunk open alarm if hauling a large object with the trunk open?
I really sucks having to drive with the alarm going off continually.
What trim level Corollas have a warning light for low washer fluid level?
I don't think my LE Plus has it at least it didn't come on when I ran out of wiper fluid.
If I were to get the sensor is the wiring there and will it work if I plug it in?
Like yours my car almost never gets over 2,000 RPMs.
I think high RPM are what is causing the first poster's issue.
I'll bet if he drove a week or two keeping his RPMs below 2,000 RPMs his MPG would improve and remember his car has less than 6,000 miles, so it will likely get better.
My lowest MPG is 32 MPG my highest is on a longer trip (+5hrs) was 42.5 MPG (both manually calulated).
I have noticed that once I crossed 25,000 miles my MPG have seemed to increase a bit.
My cars computer readout is displaying 42.2 MPG this morning, but may last manually calulated was 40...
Well I took a longer road trip and I'm very happy with the MPG.
The trip was around 340 miles one way.
On the way up I made 40.75 MPG, but that included 3 days of in town commuting in some what bad traffic. I should have filled up as soon as I got there.
On the return trip I made 42.5...
I have a 2014 Corolla LE Plus and the steering wheel is not leather.
Does the LE premium have a leather steering wheel?
Would a Corolla S leather wheel work?
I think for a Corolla S wheel to work it would have to come from a manual tranismisson S since the LE Plus does not have the paddle...
Well after a few a couple tanks of running my tires at 38 psi our Corolla showing an average MPG of 40.2 per the display.
This is a one MPG increase, but I doubt I will increase the pressure any higher though since 38 psi seemed to be noticeable in the ride quality and road noise on rough...
Well I guess asking what PSI others are running is to much to ask.
At both 32 (factory recommended) and at 36 psi the tires showed even wear.
The factory recommendation is just that a recommendation. On my 97 GMC K3500 I run the sidewall max of 80 psi since I ask the truck to haul heavy loads...
What PSI do you run your stock 17" tires at?
Mine were at 32psi and at the first service the dealer said they set them to 36psi.
I noticed the tires say 51psi is max, but I think that's way to high.
I'm thinking of trying 40psi.
My MPG monitor says the lifetime avg is 39 MPG for almost...
