my inherited 2004 spent 19 of its 22 years in balmy southern California. Now in a Mountain state w 3 months of Sub- 30 degree temps, and 175k miles, Would it be advisable to update to a OEM or aluminum OE style radiator + hoses....and Why? Thanks in advance & god's grace on your head...& Gasket.

Hello & TIA if someone could simply list Essential tools I'll need to complete...filter "buried" inside plastic In-tank housing...the Screw-on To of which is like 8" diameter. All replies are greatly appreciated.
