I have a 2010 Corolla, 1.8L.

As of May 2018 this is what's goin on:

Issue lately has to do with the "Grinding" noise upon cold starts... thought it didn't sound like a belt squeal/chirp, I changed drive belt, but didn't help... seems the starter motor is what everyone ends up fixing... i changed THAT out, and I can't tell yet if it's gone... just changed it... I am not hopeful, because I feel cursed by the fricking noise.
