Plugged in the old temp sensor and it doesn't show it over heats anymore but check engine light is on.

I have bought a temp sensor from autozone, orilleys, and advanced auto parts. None worked. Connector and wires look good. Water pump looks good to.

I have a 2002 corolla and the engine has been messing up. Threw coolant temp sensor code so changed it. After five temp sensors one finally worked to get the gauge moving but now shows it's running really hot after less than five minutes of being cranked. Changed the thermostat. Temp sensor...

Follow the top radiator hose into the engine. It's right next to it on the right.
