    2010 How to tell if fuse link is bad

    I've successfully removed the fuse link that has the alternator fuse, etc. in it(no small task). Upon inspection, I don't see any evidence of it being burned or melted. How do I know if it's bad? Please help! Absolutely have to have this thing running by 5am!

    Electrical issues after alternator replacement.

    Does the entire link have to be replaced or can individual components be replaced inside the link?
