If the engineers at Toyota are willing to slap on 17. I wouldn't worry about the out come on the other parts. The reduced fuel economy is rather minimal. My stock size is 175/65r14 and I've moved up to a 195/55zr15. In the 130xxx km I've owned my car I can't see much of any negative impacts...
95 dx with 479347 km. I have modified it and run it in autocross events. I'm currently in the process of putting together my own turbo kit for it..... And yes. It is the original engine and trans :)
From my personal knowledge of these later corollas the rear alignment is pretty much dead set from the factory on a solid beam. To adjust toe/camber in the rear of your car the hub needs to be unbolted and the correct shim put in place and the hub torqued back down to spec. From my own...
There is literally zero connection between your a/c and check engine lights. None..... The check engine light will only come on if your vehicles emission equipment has a fault. Happy motoring :)
check the local junkyards for bmw e30 rims. they're 4x100 and slightly larger than factory toyota hubs so they will fit. i have had a set of 14" bbs on my 95 and now just moved up to 15"bbs with 195/55r15 rubber they work well and were cheap...... and i think the old basket weave look is pretty...
i have tried to improve upon these things, milled head CAI and full header and exhaust. I don't have any dyno numbers ( mostly cause i'm cheap) but personally don't seem to see any differance. currently putting a turbo kit together, i'll let you know how it goes when we're done here
150 bucks is a great deal!! even if it does come with a smoked clutch. my 95 rolla with the 4afe has an intake, milled head, and full exhaust and i'm pretty sure makes no more power now than ever did..... so unless you wanna put the boost to it don't worry too much in the way of performance...
hey everyone. i'm a long time toyota owner fresh to this site. just having a look see at what everyone on here is about. i'm pretty big on modifying cars and always have some sort of insite so don't be afraid to ask me anything :)
