    HELP: HIGH RPM & slow speed while driving Downhill

    Mine did that when it was new - bothered me a lot. But now, after 12,000 miles, I don't notice it happening. Strange. You would think it would get worse, not better. Maybe it's that I'm now used to the CVT (which I like very much - just need a little more HP).

    Go for it. I guess you are wearing the belt a little. Does anyone know how long it's supposed to last? I like to use it when merging into traffic. Also, nice to use it when driving side street - tranny stays revved a little faster. This transmission is so smooth, but can be more radical...
