If trans has never been service I suggest at minimum a drain n fill.

Make sure all your main connections are clean, especially all the grounds.

Not sure what feeds them but did you check all the fuses under the hood? I would also make sure all connections going into the underdash fuse box are tight.

On my 2009 I have 225/45 R17s which are very close to 15 or 16 inch circumference. using 17 x 7" rims w/38mm offset and have no issues. If using aftermarket wheels you will need hub center rings.

Sensors need to be programmed to the specific vehicle.

My winter wheel and tire set up do not have TPMS. Cost was 1 reason and when changing to summer set up would require reprogramming every time. As you mentioned I just ignore the light and check pressure reguarly, just like I did before TPMS.

You need a OBD code reader.

No idea how to test the switch. I had my first one go bad but it still turned the cruise light on. Both switches I installed only had 2 wires to the cruise switch.

If you mean running the wire through the firewall there is a grommet to the left of the brake booster (when looking from front of car ). My car already had a wire harness running through it but also 2 smaller holes in it. I ran some wires through one of these holes. You can take a metal coat...

Is it check engine light or maint required light? If maint light it's a 5000 mile reminder and needs to be re-set.
