You might want to look at completely bleeding the clutch master cylinder and the slave cylinder. It sounds like air in the lines might be your problem.
Guys, what manual transmissions will work in these 9th gen Corollas? Will trannies out of an 8th gen Corolla work? Out of certain year Camrys? Are where can I find detailed overhaul info on these manual transmissions? The Chilton manual has nothing. Thanks in advance guys!
