2010 Corolla - Problems With SRS

Clearing the code will bring it back (and you need a scanner that is capable of pulling those types of codes). Not sure if you can set the passenger air bag to on, as that could cause a severe injury if the airbag struck a child, and Toyota would be liable for that.
Check the wiring underneath, make sure nothing is stuffed under the passenger seat (it should be empty at all times), that is the obvious stuff.
If you can't find anything obviously wrong with it, then I'd take it to a shop. These parts aren't cheap, and not having the tools to properly diagnose them and replacing parts with pray and spray will add up insanely fast. But if you can get your hands on a scan tool that can find airbag faults, then I say go for it, get the code, and see what it says.
