i started having a problem with the engine stuttering when warming up about a month ago. Had a diagnostic done and was told it was a P0171 and P0304. I took her to Firestone who did another diagnostic and replaced the cylinder 4 ignition coil. Drove ok (a light sputter was still there when warming up) for 400 miles. Check engine light came on again and read the same codes so I took it back to Firestone and they said they put a new spark plug and another new ignition coil. I didn't even make it out of the parking lot before the check engine light came back on.

I went to AutoZone bought another ignition coil and put in and it ran fine for 80 miles, but still had the light sputtering. Then the check engine light came on.

Replaced the bank 1 mass air flow sensor, ran fine for 30 miles before the check engine light came on.

Took car to another store for a free diagnostic that said there were the 2 original codes and 2 more and they are all pointing to cylinder 4. The man suggested a spark plug since I doubted Firestones work and it was the cheapest place to start. Made sense. There was gas on the spark plug when I changed it, which made me Think the fuel injector was bad.

Replaced the fuel injector today and she seems to run much better, but what I had not noticed before I did the work on the fuel injectors was fuel spitting out of the tail pipe. There was a lot of fuel that poured out (not dripped) from the fuel injectors. Btw, the #4 fuel injector was cracked. Could the fuel coming from the exhaust be from the gas that poured from the injectors when I replaced them? Will this go away? Or do I have another problem? No check engine light is on, but after seeing fuel spitting out of tail pipe, I don't want to drive to much and maybe cause a fire.
