1992 Engine Swap

I have a 92" corolla 4dr. base model w/ new paint and a nice interior. One problem though - My Son let it run low on oil so it threw a rod bearing. Now I am having a hard time finding a 1.6 to fit. How much trouble is it to retro-fit a 93 Up 1.8? will It bolt up to my trans or will I need the trans also? I have changed several engines and have changed a few Toyo's also so I am not afraid of a challenge. I need input. thanks - Dion

I just did a search for you on http://www.Car-Part.com for the 1.6 liter engine for your Corolla and found hundreds of available engines for as little as $225.00.
