How do I know if key is transponder chipped or not?

Hi guys. Just bought a 2011 Corolla LE. They key given to me is just a generic looking key; no key fob for remote door lock.
I found a couple of key fobs, but I need to know if my key I have now has a transponder chip.
Is there a way to look this up?

you canstart the car, it gots it. oyu will need to check in with a locksmith or dealer to get coded.
