Jumpy car and black smoke

Hi,

Fresh member from Norway.
I rarely have trouble with Toyotas, but thus 2006 Corolla is an exception. Manual shift, diesel, 165.000 km.

Symptoms:
Jumpy engine when driving. Idle is normal.
Black exhaust.
Error code (by professionals) indicating:
- Oxygen mass sensor failure
- Damaged intercooler. Also visually confirmed.
Both parts replaced with no improvement.

Diesel filtet replaced
- just to be sure

Other sources that is eliminated:
Turbo and all surrounding components
Hoses
EGR-valve
Air filter

I will be most grateful for any relevant suggestions from Corolla owners and/or mechanics.

Your jumpy engine... check and make sure your engine mounts are not wore & tore.

oh.. also rotating your tires and readjust your PSi.
change out your pcv valve
