Corolla DX 7AFE Intake Manifold Gasket Question

#1
Hi all, I hope someone can please help me answer this question accurately. I have swapped a 7AFE from a 94 Celica ST donor into my 95 base model Corolla. I have switched, and swapped every bit and piece of motors, and I've lost track of something. My question is regarding the gasket(s) for the intake manifold. I'm not referring to gasket for the manifold to the block, but rather the gasket(s) inside the intake manifold, under the 'cover', which is removed by three hex bolts and two 12mm bolts. I recently purchased a new intake manifold gasket set, and it included 2 (two) gaskets for this 'cover.' On visually goes around the perimeter of the 'cover', the second one does as well, but has angled portion on the gasket that doesn't seem to line up with, or seal against anything. My question is if I am supposed to use both of these gaskets? Are they different for different variants of the intake (Prism/Corolla/Celica?), does it depend on if the motor is EGR equipped or not? Or do I just slap both gaskets in there and stop asking questions? If I can post pics to clarify, I will do so. Thanks in advance for any answers.

Here is what I'm talking about, both of these came with the new gasket set. When I pulled this apart, there was only one gasket, but that could entirely be my fault because I've had everything apart a hundred times. It seems that all gasket sets come with both of these.
