2013 L wont start after let sit

so my 2013 corolla has a lot of trouble starting after I let it sit for over 3 days. it has only 40k miles and has never needed any major maintanence. if i keep turning the key after 10 minutes of struggling it will eventually turn-over and i can go for without a problem until i let it sit again. I have heard everything from i need a new battery (just replaced) to needing a new starter to bad gas. has anyone had this problem or at the very least know what this could be?

thankyou in advance

its posable it could be the battery but i would bet you might have a bad ignition switch or starter relay.

Thats the thing, I just changed it at 34k. would it really go bad already? If so I guess I have to and a battery check couldnt hurt.
I dont know where you are located but im here in Texas and with the high heat our batteries normally last about 5 years. I normally change mine every 5 years. If I don't I am calling AAA to come start me. Dosent matter how many miles are on it.

Check for fuel filter, spark plugs and battery terminals if they are torqued well. If you are able to crank the engine then the issue is not related to Battery or starter relay.

Fuel filter is in the tank and not made to be changed. I would check for spark but the plugs should be fine at 40k miles. Check that fuel is getting to the fuel rail. I'm also thinking it may be a bad tank of gas. Once it starts go for a long drive and use up the gas or drain it out and refill the tank.

How's the condition of battery cables? Sometimes they have tendency to degrade and make poor connection and current flow. Time to replace them if you haven't yet in long time.
