Drivers side electric window problem

Hi, I just changed the drivers side door check strap on a 2006 Corolla. After everything was put back together I checked the window and when putting it up and down it was slightly hitting off the check strap when the door is closed so I readjusted the check strap no problem but now the window works sporadically - it sometimes stops halfway etc and I have to wait maybe 10/20 before the button will work again. Every second or third time I try to open or close the window it won’t work or it will open/close half the way. Have I knocked it off track or something? Any help much appreciated. It’s driving me crazy!
