Hello from Virginia

Just purchased a new 2019 Corolla Hatchback XSE and life is good. Traded in my 2003 Lexus. Someone will get a good old car. Previous favorite vehicle was a 2008 Sienna which we planned to keep forever but it was totaled. I am a maintenance fanatic and look forward to learning all there is to know about my new ride.

Welcome to the forum "Lokerw. You have taken the biggest step to connect. Enjoy all the benefits and tips. You are to be commended for all the maintenance to your automobiles. This view has not let any Toyota owner without rewards to itself and also to the majority of car owners, but there is at least a residuum of truth in it even when your car happens to be in an unfortunate accident. Good luck with your 2019 Corolla Hatchback XSE
Yours,

congrats on that XSE. I got a SE model this past summer and just love the car. it's just a ball to drive and I am having a lot of fun with it. what color did you get? I got the blue flame which is gorgeous. I have had many total strangers come up to me in parking lots and comment on that 'pretty color' car I have. lol. how are you liking yours so far?

The same, happy to meet you Dawn.
I love the last post, you sure know your subject and I love your different approaches you have mentioned. I'm not as knowlegeable myself but have tried a few tips not scared to follow.
Keep giving us more reasons to log in and please know I'm impressed.
Mine 2008 corolla model . Zero issues. I hope it will be as solid as my previous one 2012 corolla, well over 300,000.
Love the how much more room it feels to have interior wise. I don't regret the age but body still solid & can't complain, didn't go crazy finding it. It was my neighbour's wife vehicle.
Got a bargain and came with his "warranty". But I do try a few things here and there.
Lets stay in touch Dawn.

your 08 corolla must be very similar to the one that I traded in for the hatch. I had a 2005 CE model that I bought new and had I dubbed ole reliable. Never had anything other than routine maintenance on that car and when I traded it in it had 126,000 miles on it and ran like a top. I will admit that I had a hard time parting with it and questioned myself over trading it in. here's hoping that your 08 will be every bit as reliable as your 2012 model. usually corollas are pretty much bullet proof. you take care of them and they will take care of you. hope your 'warranty's is a valid one :). best of luck to you Betz!
