Hi all, Our 2016 Corolla doesn't recognise my Oppo R17 phone when it's connected via a tested and functional USB cable (Bluetooth is OK), is it possible to upgrade the cars system so that the Oppo is recognised or am I wasting my time looking ?
Don't expect that. Toyota's Entune only have a few upgrades available to correct system bug but none to adapt it to specific phones. That being said, I'm not sure that those units offer any more functions via cable connection than bluetooth (calls, music) on those units. Maybe check if the phone is paired for both "phone" and "music reader".
