I have an appointment at the dealer for the Toyota paint recall for my '16 S and was wondering if anyone has dealt with this before. Trying to get a feel for what to possibly expect. I have paint peeling on the roof along the channels on both sides and on both front fenders along the hood. Any information is appreciated, thanks.

It's not a recall (those are only for security hazard, under NHTSA supervision) it's an extended warranty. The difference is that as such, limitations may apply like if the paint damage has some other cause than the manufacturing process and which body parts will be repaint (it doesn't provide for the whole car to be repaint but it still can happen as a "total of different body parts"). So basically, as with any warranty work, be sure they pose the right diagnostics an solution.
