    Tire Pressure

No, using the normal air pressures listed for your car and tire combination is all that is needed for standard use, i.e. not traveling at very high speeds. Check your owners manual for verification. Have you located the tire placard for your car yet?

    2014 Corolla - Orange Peel

Finally, a district representative! Plan on receiving the same bullfeathers excuses though. Toyota doesn't want to have to repaint the car, as that will be very expensive. "Helping" to pay the price on correcting their factory defect?! No. They pay 100% of the cost to correct their factory...

    Tire Pressure

Just use the factory recommended air pressures. For passenger cars, (there are also truck XL tires, but that's a different scenario), the XL tires are for very high speed use of 100++ mph. When a tire is traveling at those very high speeds, the safe load carrying capacity is reduced and the...

That special coating is only on parts of the car where rocks typically will hit, which is just the front. You are being lied to. >>> LAWYER <<<

    Tire Pressure

No. Extra Load tires have higher maximum listed tire air pressures for when the tire is under extra loads, i.e. carrying heavier weights or traveling at very high speeds.

    Tire Pressure

Check your vehicles Tire Placard for the recommended tire inflation pressure. Keep in mind that recommendation is based on a cold reading, before the tire is driven on and becomes hot, which will cause the air pressures to increase.

    Tire Pressure

XL = Extra Load. The air pressures listed on the sidewall of a tire at its maximum recommended pressures, not the recommended pressures. Using tire pressures that high will make the tires ride like rocks, provide for poor handling and cause premature tire wear. -- B.F.Goodrich T/A Certified...

If that line of bullfeathers were true, then the other Corolla's you've looked at for this, "texture", would all be the same and you said they weren't. >> LAWYER <<

    Tire Pressure

The recommended tire pressures should be listed in the owners manual of the car. You can also find them listed on the tire placard of the vehicle which you will usually find on the end of the drivers door, on the back side of the fuel door or on the underside of the trunk lid.

Take your Corolla to an Advance Auto Parts or Autozone and they will scan the onboard computer for you for free. Write down any trouble codes they find. The check engine light doesn't have to be on for trouble codes to be stored in the computer.

The spring in the thermostat wears out over time and can also get gummed up causing it to stick open, or at least partially open. If the thermostat hasn't been changed in over 75,000 miles, I would bet the thermostat is causing the tepid heat problem.

rollie - I have been in the synthetic oil industry for close to 30 years. The advice you were given by that dealership was not to your benefit and was so incredibly lacking, I was absolutely appalled. I didn't call your dealership a, "stealer". It does not matter if a vehicle originally came...
