replaced cruise control lever & now horn doesn't work.

Wow. I’m so sorry to hear the dealer screwed you so bad. I’ve worked as a tech and a parts and service specialist and I can tell you dealers will charge a good 80% over their cost. Some parts are really not worth buying original. My biggest fear with installing cruise control in my car is...

replaced cruise control lever & now horn doesn't work.

Like final gear said, check your fuses. Also there’s a ground cable under the steering wheel cover. And the horn cable and cruise cable are connected in the same plug. Check those as well.

13 corolla adding cruise not working

It’s kind of hard to tell without looking at what you got installed so far. The cruise control light are a bit different compared with other lights in your dashboard. I was surprised at the spot where they’re located and how dim they are. They light up as soon as I got my stalk installed.

2013 Corolla tranny fluid questions (automatic)

Wow. I misspelled mesh and lie. Yeah you’re right Gregory. They sell them because if you know how, you can drain your transmission and replace your mesh filter. https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/toyota,2013,corolla,1.8l+l4,1504998,transmission-automatic,filter,8600

    Corolla XRS

For $1500 and that mileage, it’s a steal. That being said, a reman transmission is in the over $2000 neighborhood plus labor. Or you can go to a junkyard.

    synthetic engine oil

Big thanks to stvotw for the link to Blackstone labs. My results are in and decided to share it in the thread. Don’t pay attention to the comment section when they’re talking about the 4 quarts. That was my mistake and I added zero quarts during that period.

    synthetic engine oil

Synthetic causes less deposits. So definitely it’s a better option than natural oil.

Power steering warning lights turned on

Your welcome. Not sure if you have a hydraulic power steering system or an electronic one. Chances are in your year model is electronic. But if it’s hydraulic don’t forget to check the fluid level.

Power steering warning lights turned on

If it doesn’t stay on after you start the engine then you should be fine. Seems to me it’s coming on during the computer self check. If your power steering was out you could feel it when you turn your steering wheel.
