Sorry, but I keep remembering more info. I used a hole saw to remove the perforations from the trim piece. Bought Kicker silk 3/4" tweeters which have a threaded nut on the back to hold them in place. I also bought a pair of replacement trim pieces in case I ever sell the car.

Jump the pairs together at the OEM tweeter. Then connect your new tweeter and crossover off your woofer as per their instructions. Hope this makes sense.

On the four pin connector, two on one side is positive and two on the other side is negative. One pair come from the HU and the other pair go to your woofer.

You could have removed it from the bottom of the car. Same way you would access your fog lights.

Mine is HPS, I think. Haven't had any problems with it. The MAF sensor kicked my CEL on today, but cleared about 3 hours later.

From what I know, coil overs are a pain in the ass to adjust. Once in a while is probably ok, but frequently would be exhausting. You would be better off with air suspension.
