Mine came stock with Goodyear Eagle RS-A and I'm not experiencing any road noise. I also have intake and exhaust and couldn't notice if I was!

What I did was use RCA ends (from Kicker) wired directly to the stock head units speaker outputs. Connected the RCA's to a Kenwood 4 channel amp. Took speaker outputs from the amp and wired them back into the factory wiring harness. I have no issues and it sounds great! My first attempt at this...

I was checking out prices online earlier, they are in the $350 range for OEM. I can but the lights for $19 each and the cover for $45 each. Then all I would need is the correct wiring harness. Maybe from a local junkyard since people like to play Corolla bumper cars around here. Lol!

So I removed my mirror cover tonight, hoping I would see a connector inside. No connector but there is an area where the turn signals could mount. I have a '14 LE and always wanted the S mirrors. Has anyone tried to add this feature?

There's a unit called idatalink by maestro that connects to the cars computer where you can maintain the camera, steering wheel controls etc. I was just putting this up for any interested parties. I'm like you, trying to stay with factory stuff.

I wonder if you can buy the factory harness for them.

In this case, I agree. I've tried to stay true to the brand when it comes to any mods. I've stuck with Toyota or TRD parts where applicable. Any other brands are on items that I can easily remove and return the car to stock. I have kept everything that I have removed, exhaust, intake...

Lol! With all that in mind, we could both go up to 19" without affecting the speedometer. (mine could be a little off) But I think xx/40/xx tires are really expensive! As the sidewall goes down, the price goes up!!

On a different note, do the turn signal mirrors work? How are they wired up? I have an LE and want the S mirrors, but couldn't find a connector. Unless it's what's already plugged in.

No. You need 18" diameter tires for an 18" rim. What I'm saying is that due to the sidewall height, you can get the same overal wheel diameter. This will prevent the speedometer from being off. Example, my car has 16" rims and the tires are 205/55/16 so the overall wheel diameter is let's say...

You can go +2 and keep the same wheel diameter. I want 18's cause the tires are easier to find. (at Costco lol)
