Most of us Probably have a "Recall" (CVT)

Don’t get your hopes up. They told me at least 2 weeks minimum for the back order. And we both need the same part.

Most of us Probably have a "Recall" (CVT)

I didn’t ask but they didnt say no. They told told me I could get a rental at no charge so that’s what I did. My thinking is, since Toyota know something is wrong already and I go out and drive it and something else happens then I’ll be sol since there’s already an issue.

Most of us Probably have a "Recall" (CVT)

Just got a call from the dealership and my valve body needs replaced. It’s on back order. It will be a minimum of 2 weeks for the part to come in but the guys said more then likely it will be longer an and that they really have no idea on the time.

Most of us Probably have a "Recall" (CVT)

That’s a good question. Also what I don’t understand is that they had to check my vin number first to see if the issue pertained to me. Even though my car drove fine to me they said that my vin number was on the list. And now I take it in and I’m having issues I didn’t have before. After...

So I recently just got a 2016 corolla a few months ago. 47,000 miles. Took it in for the recall on Thursday and picked it up on Friday. Before taking the car in, I had no issues, I didn’t feel any “shift points” like what others have been saying. The receipt said “passed inspection”. I went to...

    P0300, cant figure it out.

So my 2001 Corolla has a p0300 code. I’ve changed the spark plugs, coils, fuel pump, intake manifold gasket, front o2 sensor, fixed my exhaust leaks, changed the pcv valve and coolant temp sensor and it is still throwing the code. At random and sometimes can go a week or so without happening is...

    2000 p0171

so I read the code on my cheapy reader. It said p0171 system lean bank one. So far I've cleaned the maf sensor, changed out the bank 1 o2 sensor with a denso one. Also changed the intake manifold gasket and I'm still having issues. When I first changed the intake manifold gasket the check engine...

    01 corolla periodically sputters?

I'm thinking possibly plug wires or injectors because I unplugged the maf sensor while the car was running and it stalled leading me to believe the maf sensor is working.

I'm thinking possibly fuel injectors and mass air flow sensor?

    01 corolla periodically sputters?

i have a 2001 Toyota Corolla. 136k miles. My wife was complaining that the car was sputtering. So I drove it a few times and never felt anything. It only does it very now and then. Only after when filling up with gas. After we get under 3/4 of a tank it doesn't do it. Or it hasent done it yet...
