I was told by a local repair shop after they put car on diagnostic machine that it was A/C issue. It has continued making grinding noise but A/C works and noise continues when A/C is off. It is actually unfortunately my water pump. :(

A/C started making grinding noise a few months ago. Was told by local mechanic it was clutch not disengaging. Noise is occurring entire time car is running. Sounds like metal grinding. Any thoughts or ideas. Also, if there is a way to disconnect, would it have any effect on heat? It is almost...
