Mine is 2016. 2014-2017 use same light assembly. Cut open and changed the controller with exact same part then sealed it back. Did that last year at 1/100th of price of a whole assembly and it's still working. The controller is at the base of the whole light assembly.

It's sevicable. Toyota it self recommends taking it to their authorized dealer. But if you're a tech savvy person, you can do it yourself.

I have checked the rear side frost panel of my 2014 toyota corolla but could not find RKE receiver module. The TPMS receiver is there however at one side and the RKE module is supposed to be at the other end but is not there. There's no wire harness there either. Is there another place that it...

The problem may not be any module. May be the one or more TPMS transmitter ID is not set up rightly. Take it to dealer to reprogram it.
