What should I research before I do a manual swap to my 93 le corolla? Is it easy?

This happened to my corolla it ended up being my alternater jump start your car and then take the terminal off if it dies its your alteranter

is there any mods needed to swap my stock lights for the jdm headlights for my 1993 corolla ? wiring? bolts? etc...:confused::confused::confused:
