I can't afford the current one, but they keep offering it to me strongly every time I change my oil.

I cannot tell if the haze is on the outside or the inside of the clear light panel, but I have heard I can use toothpaste to clean. Will this work? Any advice? If it is on the inside how hard is it to remove/replace the headline cover myself?
