I still have been unable to get this to work correctly. Not sure why they would just have it speak while the music is on. My 2009 XRS Corolla didn't do that. It muted the music. Guess we will see what happens. Thanks for all the help so far.

Thanks guys. I checked the owners manual and does not state anything. Great if anyone finds out anymore info please post. I just think it is crazy that it does not do that. What good is it if you can't hear the directions.

Mine has done the same thing. I had to shut the car off and restart it. Then it worked fine. I only have 205 miles on it. It is at the dealer as we speak. Hope they can fix it.

Love this car! Went from a 2011 Rav4 4WD V6 Limited. Love the truck, but the lease was up and need to save some $$$ for other things. It is amazing on gas, has decent power and lots of fun gadgets.
