I'm trying to put some TRD springs on the rolla soon, and I'm debating whether or not to do the work myself. I'm guessing the installation would probably cost around $200 with alignment. With parts is about $400 +/- $25. Is there anything that will break if I go after it myself? Figure a spring...

I installed this in my gf's A3, and it worked great, with harness adapter and retained the steering wheel controls. I'm sure you could get it cheaper elsewhere though if you looked. But it's a rad system, just buy the proper harness adapter, you can get them from Crutchfield.com...

I've been researching the XRS engines, and wonder how feasible it would be to swap in a 2zz and 6sp manual into the 11th gen. Or maybe a 2.4 2AZ-FE? Does anyone have any input?

some of them are engineered with a limited lifespan in mind. two years is just about the interval for a cheap battery

I always like the minimal aftermarket look; for the WRX you can get 'risers' to put under the factory spoiler and it looks pretty cool. or just get the one from Mapisa, but it'll look exactly like every other rolla with an aftermarket spoiler.

That's a bummer when you stretch for those factory options, just for them not to work. That must be frustrating. I never had entune Nav, but through aftermarket parts, and if you install it yourself, I found that Pioneer offers some good options and aftermarket navigation using the AVICS...

Eibach pro-kit is also an option, they have about the same modest drop as TRD, roughly same price
