I believe that the cable that controls the blend door and the temperature have broken. That being said the cable assemblies are not expensive and are not too difficult to replace.

Not a bad idea to use the locks at least once a month to ensure they don't seize up.

It’s a tight fit but if you loosen the bolts holding the blower motor and around the glove box and you can fit it in just make sure you align the teeth properly. I had to change the cable on mine a few months back.
