My 2015 Altis E (manual) also suffers from the same defect. Full pressing the clutch (and even brakes) with the transmission in neutral, doesn't help. I guess this is a software bug that forces a mandatory rest period of about 5 seconds before re-starting. What if it happens in a dire emergency...
