My 09 Corolla is way more than my 13 Tacoma I traded in. Same area living in and same credentials (deposite, liability amounts, etc). Really surprised me when I found this out after buying it. But I guess that's the extra sacrifice for better mpg

Wouldn't buy anything other than Toyota or Honda. The corolla specifically was cheaper than my Tacoma, better gas mileage and still a great quality/reliable car. Also helps that it's way smaller than a mid sized truck (living in the city, that's a huge advantage)
