120gb ipod classic occasionally freezing on usb?

#1
i just got the corolla s 2016.
i had the 2013 corolla s before, and this ipod worked fine.

also, it works fine in aux.

can this NEW car simply not handle 15k+ songs?
weird, wouldn't you say?
i know the solution is the aux,
but the less wires, the better, right?

the other difference btwn the 2:
the 2013 did NOT show song artwork, and the 2016 does.

thank you in advance for your time.

Does the radio frezz as well?
And you have to power off the radio. If you yes your overloading the etunes system, processing too much info!

i'm not a radio guy, and i've only had the car for several days,
so i wouldn't know.. but i'll try to pay attention to the radio going forward
while the ipod is still plugged in the usb..

so this etunes thing wasn't on the 2013 corolla s?

no, i get that.. kinda sorta..
but it's weird that a new 2016 will cause the ipod to freeze,
but the older 2013 system worked with the ipod okay.
it's like, they/toyota don't/didn't anticipate that people
would have this much info in a gadget
so it's just not working with it properly.

and i understand that 120gb instruments don't easily exist anymore,
but it is 2016 and memories are expandable for cheap,
so cars and such should be able to handle more than a measly 120gb.

I have the exact same issue in my 2014 corolla le, does not freeze up all the time, but enough to piss you off, haha. I agree, there should be no reason why it can not run that big of file.
