2.5 Corolla TRD S???

#1
So i was trying to find out the curb weight of our corollas and I was looking at the wikipedia article and saw this:

Dimensions Wheelbase 2,700 mm (106.3 in)[2] Length 4,620 mm (181.9 in)
4,639 mm (182.6 in)[2]
4,650 mm (183.1 in) (Type-S)[2]
Width 1,775 mm (69.9 in) [2] Height 1,455–1,460 mm (57.3–57.5 in) [2] Curb weight 1,235–1,300 kg (2,723–2,866 lb) [2]
1,400 kg (3,086 lb) (2.5 TRD S)

I know this is wikipedia, but still, what is that supposed to be? Searches thus far have been inconclusive

I noticed that too! Also, if you look at the list of engines, this what it shows:

The 2.5L 2AR-FE engine is listed as an engine for the 11th gen Corolla. Maybe TRD is developing a TRD version of the Corolla! Although, this could just be a mistake from someone on Wikipedia...

The 2.0, 1.6, aand 2.5 are non-U.S., but I may be wrong.

Curb weight is found on the door sticker by subtracting the Maximum Load from the GVWR.

I believe it is 2920 pounds.

Well, i guess this shows that you probably could swap a 2AR-FE into the 11th gen Corolla. Also, where do they sell the Corolla with the 2AR-FE?

About time Toyota ditched the 2.4 they had in the tC and Matrix/Corolla S from '09-'13. That motor was a pile. 1.8 ran all over it despite being "short" 30 hp.
