I have a 2003 Corolla S that I bought used about 3 years ago. Since I have bought it the bottom half of the defroster has never worked. I recently graduated college and decided I want to keep my Corolla as my commuter and get a fun second car. But with that I wanted to fix some of the imperfections one of them being the rear defroster.
I have looked into the repair kits and have sat in my back seat (in a garage) with a flash light and could only find one true break in the grid. Which in my mind doesn't make sense since it is the whole bottom half that doesn't work.
Has anyone had a similar problem? Or have any ideas? Could it be that one break causing the whole bottom half to malfunction?
