2003 Toyota Corolla - Door Check Straps

I have to replace the door checks\straps on both doors of my 03 Toyota Corolla - but when I put in the replacements they interfere with the windows. They wont go all the way down ! When I take the door checks out - the windows are fine !!
What could be causing this ?? Any Ideas ?

Sure you got the right part number and that they were installed as the old ones were?

Compare the old one to the new one to make sure you weren't given the wrong part.

Hi I'm new to this site but I have the same problem with my Toyota corolla 03 drivers door my check strap stops my window from closing fully when the door is closed but when open it works perfect I went to a scrap yard and for a check strap of the same car as mine ( hatchback) not saloon and it was in good order has anyone any way of helping me as I am completely puzzled

Had same problem. Used grinder to take small piece off next glass. Working 100%,now
