2005 Corolla Block Heater

#1
I have been to the dealer twice to fix block heater. Last time they changed the cord for $60 +, and still doesn't work. They want to try again, but I don't trust them at all now. Besides, what could they do but charge me for a $200.00 block heater. I can put my hand on the cylinder type heater, and it slides right out of it's hole. I have never seen a block heater that slides out, so confused. Any body out there ever change one? I have a 1978 chev, and the block heater still works........Dean

where do you live at?

I live in Ohio and I don't have one...unless it gets down to crazy temps for long periods of time. I wouldn't worry about it.
