2008 - Grinding and Squeaking

So I posted recently about the brake light coming on at random times on my Corolla - this isn't happening anymore, but not when I turn the wheel even the slightest bit, I hear a really rough sounding squeaking/grinding.

I'm thinking the ball joints just need to be greased up, but aren't they supposed to do this when you get an oil change??

What you describe could very well be your Corolla needing brakes, especially with the brake warning light coming on. I'd recommend you get your Corolla to an automotive technician for diagnosis. Your life and those of others depends on your brakes, so get this issue checked out as soon as possible.
