2009 Corolla (49K <iles) Won't Turn Over

#1
After a short drive with 4 stops and starts, I parked my '09 corolla (luckily) at home, but now it will not turn over. at first only the oil light came on when the key was on, but eventually, all the lights came on--but still wont turn over. there is no clicking like a starter problem. radio and lights work--battery shows green. i am going to start by checking the fuses, but would really appreciate any ideas for troubleshooting this problem--it's 75 miles to the nearest dealer. thanks, gordon

P.S. could this be a low battery in the remote?--i changed the battery in the remote and get (about) the same result=the check engine and oil lights come on, but no starter.

Start with the simple things such as battery terminals, make sure they are clean and in good shape. It is possible that the battery shows good but is actually bad, if you can not get the car started take the battery out and take it to be tested at an auto parts store.
