2009 Corolla LE - Wont Start After Sitting

#1
I have 2009 Corolla that wont after sitting for some time (multiple hours). The car turns over but it wont start. It try's for about 5 seconds and then stops. I try this for about 5 minutes, let it sit for about 5 minutes and then it will start after about 3 more try's. When it does finally start i smell a lot of exhaust fumes. After it starts the problem will not present itself until it has sat for a long time again. I have made no changes to the car, it is about halfway through oil changes. Temps are around 30 - 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Any help would be much appreciated.

Next time it has sat for multiple hours, try a jump start. If it starts right up, you know it is the battery.
