2013 Phone issue

I have a 2013 Toyota Corolla and when a call comes in it is crackling and cuts in and out. people can make out what I am saying but I cannot understand what they are saying. I took the phone to US Cellular and they checked out the blue tooth and it worked fine they played a tune from you tube and it was perfect sounding.
Thank you for any help I can get

Try another smartphone on it. Then you will know for sure. You can always delete the second cell phone.
