2013 S - MPG Gauge Wont Match Gallons

I've got a 2013 sport and since i've had it the mpg guage doesnt match the miles driven divided by gals. It is usually 2 mpg higher than the other calculation. Which one should i believe is thr truer reading. Also is it possible to maybe adjust the cpu algorhytm at the dealer to reflect a better reading? If ya got any thoughts about this shoot em back to the forum...thx

Make a reading with the current settings after you have done a good servicing of the car. Take that as the best average.
