3 Months or 3,000 Miles?

I dont know if there has already been a thread posted about this but according to the sticker it shows that the oil should have been changed on march 26th or at 44,969 miles but theres currently only 42,294 miles on the car right now. Any thoughts on this? Should I get the oil changed now or should I wait until the 44,969 mark?

The 3,000 mile drain pain interval was the Big Oils industry sucking your wallet dry. Now they don't even recommend that anymore. It's a rip off.
