4ac swap

#1
I recently bought just a normal sedan fwd 1986 toyota corolla. It came with a 4ac engine which can be modded a bit but really with no drastic payoff. I have found a lot of information about this issue but never pertaining to just a normal corolla. It's always a gets or ae86 or something. If possible I would like to switch it out for a 4age or 4agze but I have a few questions regarding such a switch.
- The cylinders run from one wheel well to another in stead of inline, will this limit my ability to install a newer engine?
- Will the motor mounts be the same or will the install require welding new mounts?
- Will the transmission need to be replaced too are will comparability be of littler issue?
- are the blocks for all these 4a engines the same?
