After battery discharged, traction off light stays, no cruise and CEL

Hi
Battery discharged on 2013 Corolla S .
After jump start we drove it to recharge during which time cruise would not engage ( no indicator lights) ,
The car performed normally.
CEL stayed on as did traction control off light ( could not reset via button).
After driving 1/2 hour on highway we shut and restarted .
Trac, CEL and cruise remained as problems.

Any ideas on how I can fix?
Do I need to disconnect the battery for 2 minutes to reset?

Oh yes, the reason for discharge was the dome light was left on

I could check the gas cap . Could have been improperly closed after last fill up.
That still doesn't explain the check engine light and the inability to toggle or switch
The 'traction control off' light or the cruise not engaging.

So, the way On-Board Diagnostic works with some fault codes is that it takes 3 "Drive cycles" or a scanner to clear the fault. If you've got a fault that requires 3 drive cycles to clear, the system will work as intended (meaning your Traction Control still worked) but the fault will not go inactive until it achieves 3 drive cycles with no fault occurrence. Once the fault goes inactive, the light shuts off.

A drive cycle can change depending on which system the fault is for, but is typically the following:
1. Key On
2. Drive XYZ amount of miles
3. Key off

That would be considered one drive cycle.

Faults that require drive cycles to clear are typically related to the emissions or safety features of the vehicle.

Exact same symptoms occurred with my 2013 corolla LE.
I haven't completed 3 cycles yet, but good to know it went away.

Did you have any problems later on, after the lights turned off?
